Federal & state incentives

The programs that make solar pay back faster.

Most states we serve stack the federal credit with state production income and net metering — which is why payback is usually well under a decade. New Jersey's SREC-II program is one of the strongest examples.

  • 30% base Federal Solar Investment Tax Credit on the full system cost
  • +10% domestic content bonus when equipment meets US-manufacturing thresholds
  • +10% energy-community / low-income area bonus — up to 50% total
  • SREC-II: 15 years of income for the electricity your system produces
  • Net metering credit for excess power sent to the grid
  • State sales-tax and property-tax exemptions on solar equipment
  • Property-tax exemption on the value the system adds
  • MACRS accelerated depreciation for business owners
